Associate Project Manager - Fire Alarm Systems

Description

DGA Security has an immediate need for an Associate Project Manager to join our Fire Systems Project Management team. The right candidate will be highly organized and possess strong communication skills. You will be tasked with supporting our existing PM's on our new and on-going projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop project plans and schedules. 
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and contractors on job scope and report on progress on a regular basis.
• Conduct regular On-site Status Project Review to provide quality assurance and technical support to client. 
• Manage drawings with revision dates of any changes for job additions/deletions.
• Provide Sales Department with any changes discovered during job progress.
• Identify code issues and non-conformance issues, and make recommendations on alternative solutions. 
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and communicate any problem realized or identified with the fire system on work order.
• Manage and maintain smooth working relationships with contractors, clients, architects, vendors, and engineers.
• Conduct NYFD pre-test inspection.
• Assist project managers with site surveys, preparation of filing documents and forms. 
• Assist project managers with submission of fire plans and documents to the FDNY.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000/yr.
