As a Mental Health Agency Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing efficient administrative support to our team of mental health professionals, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
- Schedule client appointments and manage calendars for mental health professionals.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing exceptional customer service to clients and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with the billing department to process insurance claims and maintain accurate billing records.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including arranging venues, sending invitations, and preparing necessary materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, clerk, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of medical terminology or mental health practices is desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
