POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Analyst, Revenue Integrity assists with day-to-day activities required in areas of planning, preparation, and delivery of financial, clinical and business analysis for Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. This position maintains the development and support of data extractions for internal and external use and analytics for sound decision-making. The technical analyst will work to standardize decision support functions, including financial analysis and service line profitability analysis. The position reviews and ensures the accuracy of analysis, reports and projects related to measuring Doctors Hospital at Renaissance financial and operational performance.
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree (Finance or Accounting Emphasis) - Required
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare billing.
Health Care Experience – Required
Excellent Customer Service
Must be able to multi-task, and work with frequent interruptions
Good written and verbal communication skills are required
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of management
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Communicates clearly and concisely; and is able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, be able to type at least 35 WPM, and good working knowledge of Excel is required.
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Sql and/or Oracle Sql
Requires reasoning ability, good independent judgment and working with frequent interruptions.
High level problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, project management, consensus building, problem resolution, and quantitative analysis.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices
Provide direction and oversight for data collection and analysis, data validation and report preparation to facilitate and support financial analyses.
Lead the development of solutions to maximize data appropriateness, consistency and timeliness, and minimizes burden of data collection and analysis.
Support the Revenue Cycle by developing, updating and maintaining reimbursement models.
Work with Finance and Reimbursement staff on an ongoing basis to validate and improve these models
Evaluate, recommend and maintain systems that support financial analysis and decision support functions
Coordinate the resolution of operational and technical issues and problems regarding financial and decision support systems with the Information Systems department and vendor support groups as required.
Analyzes complex financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. Other duties and special projects as needed.

CUSTOMER SERIVCE:
Performs other duties as assigned and provides excellent customer service to all DHR customers. B.Working Conditions: The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
C.Occupational Exposure:This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). Person who performs these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
