Diagnostic Imaging Partners (Jacksonville, NC office) is seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor.

About Us:

Diagnostic Imaging Partners offers subspecialty expertise in all areas of diagnostic and interventional radiology. Our group is comprised of thirty-one radiologists and eleven physician assistants, plus a dedicated staff of radiologic technologists and professional support personnel.

Position Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing high quality patient care, technical skills, leadership skills and customer service in coordinating the delivery of radiology health care services. This includes the following:

  • Delivery of patient care and service unrestricted by the concerns of personal attributes or the nature of the disease or illness, and without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, or socio-economic status.
  • Promotes the use of equipment and accessories, employment of techniques and procedures, performance of services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates understanding of minimizing radiation exposure to the patient and members of the healthcare team
  • Protection of the patient’s right to quality radiologic technology care
  • Assist with modality accreditations, quality control, Peer Reviews and performance monitoring

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrate flexibility with changing workload and assignments
  • Assist in implementation and maintain up-to-date protocols in conjunction with radiologists and technologists
  • Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
  • Display good judgment in knowing when to ask for radiologist assistance or second opinion of Director. Assume responsibility for professional decisions, and act in the best interest of the patient.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of imaging equipment at both sites
  • Manage personal work schedule and time off to promote smooth department operations
  • Schedule, attend and participate in team meetings and company-wide meetings
  • Follow established policies and procedures
  • Effectively demonstrate the mission, vision and values of Delaney Radiologists
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement
  • Responsible for safeguarding the privacy of patient health information at all times
  • Must use and disclose protected health information only as authorized within the job description or as authorized by policy and procedure
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned or requested
  • Adhere to the ARRT Code of Ethics

Supervisory Duties:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and evaluation of all staff in the Clinical Department. In accordance with applicable Company policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities:

  • Interviewing, hiring, orienting and training employees.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Coaching and appraising performance.
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Position Qualification Requirements:

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Adhere to continuing medical education requirements set forth by the ARRT
  • At least one advanced certification, preferably CT or Mammography
  • Two years of supervisory experience or proven ability in displaying leadership qualities
