Dialpad’s Partner Account Managers are tasked with recruiting, enabling, and managing partners in their assigned territories.
Dialpad’s Channel team plays an essential role in our GTM motions. This team partners closely with our SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise teams to constantly improve our new customer acquisition and expansion of our customer base.
Your role
As a Partner Account Manager of Channel Sales, you’ll be managing our existing partners as well as recruiting and onboarding new regional partnerships to drive indirect sales in your designated territory. You will become a subject matter expert on Dialpad and all our products, leveraging your expertise to educate, train and capture mindshare with our partners. Our PAM teams work closely with the National Team as they are our program's new business and partner recruitment engine.
This position reports to our Manager, Channel Sales, and has the opportunity to be based in our Phoenix, Arizona Office. As this role supports our Western region partners, the position can be remote-based if in the Western Time zone.
What you’ll do
- You’ll be a go-to Dialpad expert for partners in your assigned territory
- Confident in presenting the Dialpad company presentation and product demonstration to channel partners
- You’ll recruit and onboard new channel partners by providing product training, solution demonstrations, and partner portal access
- You’ll be focused on building long-standing relationships with partners; consistently engaging with them to uncover and drive new business opportunities
- You’ll effectively oversee and manage the sales funnel to ensure that all opportunities move forward through the sales cycle
- You’ll be working closely with marketing to build partner recruitment webinars and sequences to increase Dialpad brand awareness amongst the partner community
- You will be an integral part of GTM motions
Skills you’ll bring
- 2 years experience in channel management and/or technology sales
- Recent experience working for an emerging tech company
- Has met/exceeded own direct sales goals
- Must show a proven methodology to prospect and build a pipeline
- Experience driving the sales process across internal and external teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field)
- Proven track record of sustained over-performance against sales quota and pipeline goals
