JOB TITLE: CNC OPERATOR I - First shift
JOB SUMMARY
Operate CNC Horizontals, verticals. Assist in working from complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions and standard charts. Make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine or program conditions. Troubleshoot and resolve various types of operating difficulties; be able to measure using micrometers and other associated tools; be able to hold tight tolerances within. 0002”
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of experience in operating, loading, and unloading fixtures on CNC machines.
- Knowledge of running CNC Horizontal and Vertical machines, cutting tools, and basic CNC machining. (Knowledge of Manual Machines would be a plus but not required)
- Knowledge of lathe operations, including G and M-code, cutting tools, machine tool operation, and toolpath strategies.
CORE DUTIES
- Capable of reading drawings and understanding tolerances.
- Operate and oversee CNC Machines.
HOURS
- 1st shift
- Monday through Thursday 4:45am-3:15pm
- Friday OT as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Teamwork skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential- a high level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast pace, demanding environment.
