We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Engineering Department Manager to lead our dynamic team in the fast-paced construction industry.
The successful candidate will have a robust background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and DSA experience is a plus.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of managing and executing complex construction projects.
Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering department, ensuring all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Leading the design and implementation of MEP systems for various construction projects, in compliance with DSA regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Developing and managing budgets, schedules, and project plans, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conducting performance evaluations, identifying training needs, and developing team members to their full potential.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on MEP and DSA.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
