WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE
DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our distribution center team in Goodyear, Arizona. This role will support the Maintenance department within the DC on our daylight shift!
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm.
Essential Functions include:
Responsible for all aspects of maintenance on the designated shift
Responsible for all aspects of janitorial/housekeeping on the designated shift
Provide leadership and technical assistance to maintenance and janitorial personnel. This includes planning and directing preventative/emergency maintenance of the Distribution Center, conveyor system, and forklift equipment.
Ensure compliance with all maintenance safety procedures.
Responsible for successful implementation of Preventative Maintenance Program on the designated shift
Ensure proper conveyor spare parts inventory levels. To include providing accurate order information to maintenance manager along with accurate receipt and storage of all spare parts
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or work related experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience
Must have working knowledge of Allen-Bradley Programmable controllers, RSLinx, and RSLogix5
Previous experience with Preventative Maintenance programs
Must have conveyor, forklift and electrical experience as well as good troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Strong sense of safety
Ability to work flexible hours
“Hands on” approach
Responsible for the supervision of both the maintenance and janitorial hourly staff associate
Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or work related experience
