Job Posting for Contributing Faculty in Oboe at Dickinson College
Dickinson College seeks a contributing faculty in oboe. Duties include teaching 1 – 2 oboe students per semester and playing one annual concert with the faculty wind quintet. Opportunities exist for additional income for: performing in the Dickinson Orchestra, giving solo or chamber recitals, and coaching student chamber ensembles.
Dickinson College is located in Carlisle, PA, 2 hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore, 2.5 hours from Washington, D.C. Most performances take place in the college’s state of the art Rubendall Recital Hall, acoustically renovated by the internationally renowned firm Kirkegaard and Associates. Performances are supported by a professional sound and recording technician, and the facility includes the capacity to make professional-quality recordings.
