Plant Manager Position

Digger Specialties, Inc. is hiring for a Plant Manager position for our Fuquay-Varina, NC location. This position will be responsible for daily management of staff, safety, operations, and ensuring the quality of production. We are seeking someone who has a strong attention to detail coupled with excellent management skills. Organizational skills, strong communication, and superior decision-making skills are also imperative.
The Candidate Must:
- Manage all plant operations including safety, quality, procurement, production, maintenance, and other production-related processes
- Provide oversight to manufacturing supervisors and employees
- Ensure appropriate job scheduling and sufficient staffing for the plant
- Maintain safety and organizational policies and procedures
- Organize plant activities to guarantee the manufacturing goals are accomplished in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Certify the quality and consistency of raw and finished products
- Ensure efficiency and implement improvements where needed
- Analyze weekly production reports and address any production related issues
- Manage monthly inventory and third-party audits
- Communicate and manage corporate goals and incorporate them into the production setting
- Provide excellent leadership to employees to help build and motivate a high performing team
- Be committed to the company’s success and continually work to promote the growth of the business
The Candidate Will:
- Have 3 years of experience in plant operations
- Have superb multi-tasking, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Be able to complete assignments in a deadline driven environment that is fast paced.
- Show sound judgement and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a problem solver and able to manage many priorities with little supervision
- Be willing to assist team when needed and be a “hand on” leader
- Show a strong sense of urgency while maintaining a good attitude with employees, customers, and vendors
- Work well in a team type environment
- Conduct business with integrity and honesty.
This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and offers a competitive compensation plan.

Salary : $53,400 - $67,600
