DigiStream Investigations, a fast-growing national private investigation firm, seeks a motivated, inquisitive individual to conduct desktop-based research and investigations. While this position is a "desk job", it is not your typical, boring one. Each case you investigate will be a different challenge. Each day you come to work will be a different day.
Our Buffalo affiliate prides itself on its excellent teamwork between Surveillance Investigators in the field, our Social Media Investigators and Evidence Specialists in the office, and our leadership.
Starting Hourly Compensation: $17.50 per hour
Weekly Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete in-depth reports on background data and social media findings
- Work closely with team members on complex cases to resolve identities on social media or databases..
- Read, analyze, and distill large amounts of information from social networking profiles, online forms and articles, and apply it to an investigation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding subjects under investigation.
- Strong attention to detail with an intuitive ability to search the internet and uncover information where others cannot
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge/hands-on experience with social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Associates/Bachelors degree preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to type over 45 words per minute
