We are seeking a Quality Control Technician based out of our headquarters in Kent, WA to help ensure our products continue to live up to DCI’s high standards and exceed the expectations of our global customers. You will apply your quality skills and knowledge of electronic devices to perform testing and inspection on manufactured products to ensure compliance with procedures and specifications. What You’ll Do:
- Perform inspection and testing across all stages of production as established in written procedures
- Complete product test reports, record inspection and test results in computer business systems
- Recommend modifications and improvements to quality control policies and procedures
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and propose solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiative projects and test procedure updates
- Communicate ideas to improve quality, efficiency, repeatability and compliance
- Find solutions to customers concerns and feedback
- Contribute to failure analysis and root cause investigations of non-conformances and variances
- Continuing updating of job knowledge by reading technical publications, participating in seminars and other educational opportunities
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Engage in quality calibrations and internal audits in a professional manner
- Maintain calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
- Proficiently use a personal computer to perform job tasks, including Microsoft Windows, Teams, SharePoint, and Office Suite
- Maintain confidential product and trade secret information
- Exemplify and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program OR equivalent experience in a technical field
- Five years related industry experience OR three years quality control experience
- Preferred to have ASQ membership/ certifications
- Thorough understanding of methods and processes involved in manufacturing
- Knowledge of quality control standards
- Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills which include the ability to teach and explain methodologies
- Ability to interpret instructions whether written, spoken, or in a diagram
- Well skilled in quality control standards, processes, and also statistical techniques
- Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team
- Must be self-motivated and have a strong ability to balance multiple priorities
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with personnel across all levels of the organization
- Pay attention to details in order not to lose sight of anything, no matter how minute
- High sense to maintain confidential product and trade secrets information
- Required to lift 5-10 pounds repetitively
- Willing to work outside as needed, position requires some time testing outdoors, year-round

Compensation:
- DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit-sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis.
- Pay range: $41,600 - $51,300 per year. Factors considered for pay include the level of skill, experience, training, external market factors, and internal value.
- Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 12% and 27%. Future bonuses could be higher or lower depending on company profits.
