Digital Marketing Manager (Hybrid - Monroe, CT)
The client, a known maker of the original army knife, is seeking an ambitious, strategic, and analytical Digital Marketing Manager to contribute to the development and execution of powerful marketing initiatives that will drive growth in their online marketplace and direct-to-consumer channels.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing activities across Amazon, Online Marketplaces and eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, analytically minded, and team player who has the ability to strategize, execute, optimize, and report while continually evolving and optimizing their digital marketing mix.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to: Marketing Director
- Works closely with: Marketing, Sales, Digital Commerce, Customer Service, Finance/Accounting, and external partners
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of the client’s paid search campaigns, including but not limited to strategy, set-up, development, and implementation of strategies, campaign structure, budget management, daily bidding, and budget management.
- Responsible for leading Amazon marketing activities (including but not limited to AMG, Sponsored Ads, Posts) across the client’s brands.
- Optimize the PPC strategy with Amazon to optimize budget and results while managing growth and forecast.
- Report results monthly to internal and HQ team members.
- Develop and maintain Amazon expertise for current and emerging trends.
- Monitor keyword rankings and optimize as needed.
- Lead search marketing campaigns across Google and Microsoft, including day-to-day strategy, reporting, analysis, and optimization.
- Develop testing strategies and new ideas for paid search programs.
- Recognize performance trends and pivot strategies accordingly.
- Assume special projects or duties as needed.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing the client’s products and values with passion and integrity.
Desired Skills/Experience
- 3 years of relevant marketing experience, either in-house or with an agency.
- Practical experience in Amazon Marketing Services is required (Advertising Console/AMS, DSP, AMG).
- SEO experience on and off Amazon.
- Paid search experience in eCommerce and/or customer acquisition.
- Ability to adapt to changing marketing conditions—new opportunities, tools, and emerging trends.
- Experience and training in SA 360.
- Experience using Google Ad Scripts and Microsoft Advertising Scripts.
- Experience managing large-scale search campaigns.
- Experience across both B2B and B2C campaigns.
- Proficient in analytical tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture), Search Engine Desktop Tools (Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor), Bid Management Tools (DoubleClick Search, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.).
- BA degree in a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; Must be able to clearly communicate information effectively and persuasively.
- Attention to detail and organization; ability to meet deadlines.
- Action-oriented, focused on quality output.
- Excellent project management experience: ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously; strong time management skills.
- Creative thinker with a positive, entrepreneurial attitude; flexible and adaptable.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
Compensation
$120,000 to $130,000 10% Bonus Benefits
