Product Marketing Specialist

The Role

The Product Marketing Specialist acts as a liaison between the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop marketing strategies and plans for all of the Digital Pharmacist products. From producing marketing plans based on product roadmaps to interviewing customers and writing product spotlights, the product marketing specialist will act as the marketing expert across our suite of products.

Ideal candidates will possess an aptitude for product marketing and data analytics, and be self-disciplined, energetic, professional, and self-motivated. Previous product marketing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product team to learn each product’s strategy, understand our customer base, and develop tools and campaigns to introduce and sell our products
• Be the marketing expert for each product and work cross-functionally to determine promotion, marketing, and execution plans
• Work closely with the Product Management and Sales teams to help effectively bring products and features to the market
• Help sales and training managers create materials for each new and existing product 
• Work in concert with marketing manager to create webinars, case studies, and other lead-generating marketing materials
• Interview existing customers as well as prospects to inform product marketing decisions, create testimonials/product spotlights, and make recommendations 
• Keep up to date on competitive product lines, and create reports on your findings

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in positioning and launching products that exceed business objectives
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Independent worker capable of managing multiple projects in parallel
• Ability to quickly learn information and apply it in a fast-paced environment 
• Proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, and Excel
