The Technical Specialist II supports the organization and its clients by conducting the duties and responsibilities as described below. Are you the right person to join our team?

Position Summary

As a Technical Implementation Specialist II, you are an experienced technician. You will have the right blend of interpersonal and technical skills tied together with a high-level of professionalism.

You will support the client account teams with deployment and implementation of various technologies, along with onsite and remote support. You will have a working understanding and troubleshooting abilities support and deploy server, workstation and networking solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Auto-Pilot, Intune, VMWare, Microsoft Server Products, Active Directory, Backup, and networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Firewall Configurations).
You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures and solutions correctly; and determine when to refer problems to the supervisor or the next level of support. Because you will be entrusted with the security and stability of business IT environments, building trust with the client and internally is critical. You will have the ability to work well with the client, other Digital323 members, and the technology that ties us together. Is this you? Duties and Responsibilities

Technology Deployment and Implementation

  • Implement technology-based solutions for our clients’ business needs and serve as a tier 2 escalation point in supporting the remote and field teams in day-to-day troubleshooting and break/fix issues.
  • Participate in design and architectural meetings in developing solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of, and the troubleshooting abilities to recommend and support servers, workstations and networking solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and may be required to train, schedule, distribute and escalate work to other staff members as needed.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures and solutions correctly, including when to refer problems to your supervisor or the next level of support.
  • Ability to work well with the client, other Digital323 members, and the technology that ties us together. Because you will be entrusted with the security and stability of business IT environments, building trust with the client and internally is critical
  • Respond to client phone, email, or voicemail inquiries related to technology issues promptly.
  • Resolve client technology issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate product specialist.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and issue resolution.
  • Document client resources and supporting processes for the team.
  • Provide feedback to the team on system upgrade to improve the client experience.

Documentation

  • Updating client documentation and diagrams
  • Updating ticketing and time tracking system (ConnectWise) in an accurate and timely basis as work is being conducted for the Digital323 clients

Other duties as assigned

  • Internal process improvement tasks
  • Participate in mentoring process
  • Partake in training opportunities

Qualifications and Skills
Experience:

  • 3-5 years of IT-related system implementation; with proven ability to clearly communicate and set expectations, make technology solution recommendations, assist with IT leadership and design.
  • 3-5 years of IT support experience as either an independent consultant or within an IT support organization/department

Education:

  • College Graduate with Computer Science emphasis preferred
  • A Certification, Network Certification Preferred
  • Microsoft Clouds Solutions Certification Preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Windows Troubleshooting – Desktop and Server Operating Systems
  • Extensive LAN/WAN experience – DNS, DHCP, Static IP, Wireless Configuration
  • Extensive Microsoft Windows Server experience – Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Remote Desktop Services
  • Extensive Microsoft 365 experience
  • Experience with virtualization technology – VMWare, Hyper-V, Veeam
  • Experience with various server, printer, desktop, and laptop hardware
  • Experience with various network hardware – switches, routers, firewalls, cabling
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio is a plus
  • Experience with ConnectWise is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
