Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst

You will be responsible for using the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server support and developmental needs.  You will be the GIS and database integration Subject Matter Expert working with additional staff supporting the customer's GIS-based applications.

To succeed in this position, you will need to apply your expertise in ESRI ArcGIS platform systems and perform relational database management in Microsoft SQL Server, Access, and Oracle.  You will need to have in-depth experience with ArcGIS tools and applications.  And you must have experience tying SQL and Oracle data with the ArcGIS platform systems.

Required Skills/Knowledge (required except as noted)
• Relational database architecture, administration, and management in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and federal enterprise systems.
• Create cross-platform integration and connectivity
• Build scalable websites that will connect to hosted services
• ESRI Tools is required, have a working knowledge of all tools being used for the migration of data to different platforms.
• Spatial data management in ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro
• ArcGIS Story Maps
• Editing and analysis of spatial data in ArcMap
• Detailed knowledge of tools in ArcToolbox
• Linear Referencing in ArcGIS
• Spatial Analyst Extension for ArcGIS (for working on Rasters)
• Performing cartographic mapping
• Data projection into different coordinate systems
• Creation of Raster Catalogs from existing rasters
• Building and designing Geodatabases
• Development of ArcGIS Desktop. Add-ins using ArcObjects .NET API
• Installation and management of ArcGIS Server for Server and Portal extension
• Creation and management of services for ArcGIS Server and Portal extension
• Development of GIS web applications using ArcGIS Server .NET API
• Development of ASP.Net WCF Web-services for GISbased applications
• Installation and management of ArcSDE
• Creation and management of enterprise Geodatabases using ArcSDE and Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle Google Earth and KML/KMZ
• Knowledge of Python scripting for customizing ArcGIS Geoprocessing tasks
• Knowledge of relational database architecture, administration, and management in Oracle, Microsoft
• Access, and Microsoft SQL Server systems
• Skills to quickly adapt to rapidly changing software platforms to take advantage of GIS software advances
