We are looking for a sale consultant who is bold, confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about styling consumers for once-in-a-lifetime occasions.
Responsibilities
· Welcome and engage with customers as they enter the store.
· Meet and surpass the needs of every bride-to-be, building a profitable and trustable long-term relationship.
· Meet established sales goals and the art of closing the sale.
· Select bridal gowns based on each customer’s body type and personal taste streamlining the selection process. Apply same eye to other store departments including bridesmaids, prom/pageant, special occasion, and tuxedos.
· Maintain thorough product knowledge as well as fashion bridal trends to speak knowledgeably supporting your recommendations about style, fit and prices.
· Learn and master the bridal inventory, sizing, and pricing structures.
· Upsell accessories by completing the look for brides and other special occasion customers.
· Provide a hassle-free, comfortable shopping experience.
· Complete all customer relationship management tasks to include ringing up the sale and supplemental required paperwork as well as regular correspondence with personal book of business.
· Answer the phones with professional greeting and a "SMILE".
· Assist with merchandizing, displays, and the maintenance/cleaning of the bridal department and public areas of the store.
Qualifications:
· Work experience in the fashion industry is REQUIRED.
· Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years working in CLOTHING RETAIL SALES with a strong focus on customer service.
· Strong communication skills to connect with people.
· Impeccable personal presentation.
· Ability to work individually or with a team to achieve sales goals.
· Must have initiative, quick to learn, and have strong negotiation skills.
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers from initial consultation to closing the sale and post-sell correspondence.
· Basic computer skills are required.
· Other essential skills/qualifications required for this job include attention to detail, empathy, and patience.
· High school diploma.
