Job Summary:
The Cloud Architect will administer, monitor, and provide maintenance to hybrid-based systems, to include O365 and/or AWS. You will ensure that our systems are available, secure, and have documented and supported policies, procedures, and guidelines.This individual will be a subject matter expert for O365, Azure, AWS and Azure Active Directory related projects to include large migrations.
- The candidate should have experience with Cloud migrations. Specifically, AWS experience and/or certification is preferred.
- The candidate will lead a small team of 1 to 2 individuals working within the System Administration and Network Administration department/s.
- Solution and Manage System and Network Administration projects and people.
- Required travel is approximately 25%
- Other duties as assigned
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest level of operational standards for cloud technologies while executing best practices in operations and ongoing maintenance.
- Maintain plans and procedures for administration of the cloud based and on-premises systems.
- Maintain O365 environment to include Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Assist with cloud security needs as requested by security team.
- Assist with the documentation of all system processes and procedures to ensure standardization, and best security practices.
- Assist with the build and maintenance of servers in the cloud environment.
- Has a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends, and related technologies
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field required; or 5 years of equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of O365 security tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of AWS and/or Azure operations and technologies
- Knowledge of IT operations and basic methodologies
- Experience documenting environments, process, standards
- Ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations
- Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions
- Presentation and articulation of technical content aligning to audience
- Ability to take projects and execute deliverables with limited support
- Appropriate certifications in AWS Cloud and/or Azure and associated Microsoft technologies
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Administrator Associate
