Job Summary:
Dine Source is seeking a dynamic data management subject matter expert support (SME) to advise on and/or perform: data preparation and architecture, development of agile algorithmic solutions, data governance and data maturity models; data policy framework assessment and creation, data catalog structure, enterprise data platforms, data metadata management, data analytics. He/she will collaborate with stakeholders and leaders from both the client and company to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities related to the delivery of projects. The position requires significant interaction and collaboration between cross-functional lines of business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach data management team.
- Key contributor for data stewardship workgroups and teams in data management and governance activities.
- Champion of metadata and data quality practices leading lunch ‘n’ learn sessions, knowledge sharing sessions, etc..
- Maintain the group focus; lead discussion toward stated goals and manage the group dynamics in facilitating working sessions with subject matter experts (SMEs), and management teams
- Gain an understanding of the stakeholder’s business culture and priorities, and the need for different modeling techniques when eliciting definitions and data quality requirements.
- Accountable and responsible for the engineering success of specific data governance engineering programs (e.g. Metadata and Cataloging Program, Data Quality Program).
- Perform analysis and research to support and/or develop glossary definitions, policies, programs, standards, guidelines and workflows
- Perform tasks necessary to acquire data and develop a scalable technical architecture necessary to enable consumption of prepared datasets by the analytical and/or systems development communities in both cloud and on-premise environments at multiple security classification levels up to Secret
- Perform or facilitate services relating to well-managed coordination between data originators and data system owners as necessary to acquire or connect to operational systems for data analysis purposes.
- Perform Data Preparation tasks necessary to transform data from its raw form into a format ready for consumption by the analytical and/or systems development communities in both cloud and on-premise environments.
- Facilitate or perform services relating to developing solution architectures based on cloud-agnostic, vendor-agnostic, open-source, requirement-driven product selections, all designed to securely design, build, deploy, operate and sustain enterprise-quality, commercially-used data science tools and services.

Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Degree in a Business or Science discipline
- 3-5 years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to gather and analyze internal application data needs by means of interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions with users.
- Ability to translate data needs into detailed functional and technical designs for development, testing and implementation.
- Ability developing medium to complex data quality profiling or metadata analysis processes with an industry leading tool such as Alation, Collibra, NiFi, or Informatica.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to manage multiple medium to large scale projects.
