LTL Account Manager

Job SummaryPrimarily responsible for being the dedicated point of contact for our existing and newly-acquired LTL customer base. This position will leverage your past LTL experience to strategically price and win business, expand transportation spend share opportunities, and ultimately grow your own book of business within our LTL offering. As an LAM you will work collaboratively with other departments (Truckload & Intermodal) to ensure all existing DCL customer relationships are maximized. Essential Duties and Responsibilities College graduate preferred, high school diploma required.At least one year of freight brokerage experience preferred.Working knowledge of LTL pricing & quoting strategies required.At least one year of LTL sales experience preferred, with proven ability to close accounts.Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and multiple business development proposals. Job RequirementsEducation/Experience College graduate preferred, high school diploma required.At least one year of freight brokerage experience preferred.Working knowledge of LTL pricing & quoting strategies required.At least one year of LTL sales experience preferred, with proven ability to close accounts.Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and multiple business development proposals. Skills Required Qualified candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with relationship-building, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Must be able to work with others along with working independently.
