MUST have experience in Electronics
General:
Ability to maintain an approved supply base.
Preparation of RFQ packages
Analysis of supplier quotations
Recommend sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, delivery and financial stability
Negotiation of all commercial aspects of material / component, indirect and services purchases.
Drive supplier cost savings through on-going negotiations.
Support program launches through participation in the PDP process
Maintain purchasing records, process internal eRequisitions and issue Purchase Orders as required.
Qualification Requirements:
Strong Negotiation Skills
Strong Inter-Personal Skills
Ability to understand technical aspects of the components / materials in their portfolio
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trans4M etc.)
Presentation Skills
Education and/or Experience:
University Degree or College Diploma required
Minimum of 3 -5 years Purchasing Experience
Automotive Purchasing Experience considered an asset.
Electronics Engineering an asset
