DIRECTV Marketing is looking for a Sr. eCommerce Manager. This role will require someone who is detail oriented, organized, familiar with managing acquisition websites and digital eCommerce strategy, and who understands the end-to-end online sales customer journey. This candidate will have a digital sales focus while also understanding what is best for the overall customer experience in the online channel, specifically our sales-facing websites. Ideally, the candidate is a fast learner and technologically savvy, with the ability to utilize 3rd party SaaS tools for marketing purposes. This role will focus on program management of eCommerce offers, advocating for eCommerce offers, driving enhancements, ensuring timelines are met across multiple teams, and communicating project milestones to leadership. The customer will also support the lead of eCommerce personalization in driving forward the overall personalization efforts for digital acquisition customers. This role is perfect for an individual who has recently started their career with some experience in eCommerce and is looking for their next step. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering and optimizing seamless customer experiences.
What you’ll do:
Drive Digital Offers
- Be the advocate for all eCommerce digital offers with finance and marketing
- Identify and push through the development process any new capabilities to support eCommerce digital offers
- Build and update documentation to report on status of ongoing initiatives including performance, future iterations, and growth plans
- Perform project management tasks to ensure milestones are met and tasks are completed across contributors
- Work with merch/IT to launch all offers and ensure there is smooth end to end customer experience
Support Personalization and Optimization Efforts
- Support eCommerce personalization lead in driving all personalization efforts for acquisition customers
- Maintain all documentation related to status of each initiative and overall performance
- Identify gaps and propose optimizations to provide a better customer experience on our website that is in line with business KPIs
- Stay up to date on eCommerce best practices and evolving trends
Ad Hoc support
- Responsible for successful execution of DIRECTV’s marketing strategy to support the company’s Video acquisition goals and integrated digital strategy in the sales sub-team charters
- Drive any one-off initiatives that help drive overall digital sales (DMAICs, point person on externally funded projects that have digital impacts, etc.)
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- 3 years of eCommerce digital sales and website management experience
- Experience project managing across multiple digital platforms and how the different technologies interact in order to drive initiatives forward
- Ability to use data driven analysis to quickly identify areas of focus
- Ability to multi-task and run multiple projects at once with positive results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on taking requests and translating into technical requirements
- Build cross-functional relationships to drive business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Commitment to deadlines, accuracy, and professionalism
- Experience with program/project management: tracking milestones, deliverables from various contributors
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite

The US base salary range for this Sr. eCommerce Manager full-time position is $96,140 - $174,570 bonus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
