What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Specialist, Advanced Analytics position at DIRECTV?
DIRECTV is seeking a Sr. Specialist in Advanced Analytics to gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of operational and customer data to identify key drivers, relationships, and insights to support Loyalty Call Center Operations, to include agent performance, customer behavior, disconnect rates, retention strategy evaluation, and recommendation. This strategic leader requires the ability to bring together disparate datasets to provide key/actionable insights.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Projects may include disconnect analysis, customer behavior/segmentation, credit spend/offer effectiveness product level analysis, and customer experience analysis, all with a focus on customer retention.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to support insights, including significance testing, multiple regression techniques, AB testing, and experimental design, etc.
- Develop reports, charts, tables, and visualizations to support analytical insights and to clearly communicate the indicated actions to Leadership and business partners.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Preferred degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5-8 years in related experience in Advanced Analytics, Business Analytics
- Required Technical Skills/Competencies - Databricks, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Relational Database Structures, Data Analytics/Data Mining Tools. PowerBI/Tableau, Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel skills.
This role requires approximately, but not limited to, 10% travel.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210
Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800
High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980
Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
