Dog Bather - Brusher

We are a fast-paced busy Dog Grooming Business in beautiful Broomfield Colorado

Primary Business Functions:

• Hours of operations are Monday - Saturday 8-4:30 pm.
• This position will be split between two individuals covering the 6 days.
• 30 hours a week
• Full-Service Dog & Cat Bathing & Grooming
• Limited walk-in services (nail trimming, glands, etc.)

Dog Bather – Brusher:

• As a dog bather your main responsibilities will be assessing the condition of a dog’s coat during check in with input from the pet parent determining a course of action. Bathe, de-matt or de-shed as needed, completely dry the dog with a caring touch using towels and forced hand held dryers. Brush out the dog as needed.
• Will be tasked with performing nail trims, brushing teeth, anal gland expressions, and cleaning ears in a safe manner as trained.
• This role is for someone interested in the pet care industry. We will train those who demonstrate exceptional work ethic and commitment to our clients, pets, and team members. Daily responsibilities include: preparing stations and shampoos, bathing and drying dogs perfectly, supporting our groomers, cleaning the shop, and making sure our dogs are comfortable as possible.
• This position will be bathing your own dogs, not dogs for a groomer or groomers. You will receive your own tips from clients, not split with groomers.

Physical demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time during your shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

Compensation:

• $15-$16 per hour based on qualifications
