Your Impact

The Product Manager at DISCO drives the success of our products in the market. They are responsible for defining the product roadmap, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative products. They use customer needs, market trends, and business goals to guide the development and launch of our products, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Understand User Needs: Conducts and synthesizes market research and gathers customer feedback to identify and define product requirements and user stories. Develops an understanding of DISCO’s customers and their needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless execution of product development efforts. Works with designers to shape and iterate potential solution opportunities. Works with engineering to break down work into user stories and acceptance criteria, defining feature scopes.
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborates with stakeholders to define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements that deliver maximum value to customers.
  • Product Launch: Oversees the successful launch of new products and features, coordinating with marketing, professional services, and sales teams to drive adoption and success. Gathers feedback from early customers to validate the value and make improvements to new products and features.
  • Product Strategy: Develops and communicates the product strategy for assigned product areas in collaboration with product leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.

Who You Are

  • 3 years of product management experience with software products.
  • Experience conceiving, building, and shipping successful software features.

  • Experience in technology-driven companies or startups.
  • Experience working on B2B software.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to discuss broad customer workflows, but also able to dive into the details
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to diagram user-to-object interaction models in order to understand user workflow and prioritize pain points
  • Understanding of engineering, design, and research methodologies
