Work Schedule/Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

OBJECTIVE:
Primary focus of this position is to maintain inventory accuracy in a Centralized and Secured warehouse. Responsible for accurate counts of inventory and inventory transactions in an SAP Business One ERP system. System transactions include meticulous counts and procedural receipts of goods, inventory transactions of timely order fulfillment and physical distribution to a network of Retail Stores and facility operations. Supply chain experience to include purchasing, expediting and accurate invoice matching. Other duties and projects as required by Purchasing Manager or relegated supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Previous experience/skills requirement:
One-Year experience in supply chain management (purchasing and inventory management).
Prefer background in managing large inventories for distribution to a network of varying operations and facilities.
Technical skills required:
Buyer / Supplier Relations experience preferred.
Possess valid Colorado Drivers License.
Must have or be able to obtain OSHA required forklift certification within 30 days after hire date.
Must be able to operate all warehouse equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.)
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual a plus)
Detail oriented with strong organizational skill.
Proficient in computer Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Prior experience in inventory control and purchasing software preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with Internal customers and vendor sales / customer support personnel.
Ability to work with persons with disabling conditions
Must have strong work ethic, be a self-starter, problem-solver, and team player.
Physical skills required:
In a warehouse environment, the incumbent must be:
Capable of handling a physically demanding job.
Capable of maneuvering fully-loaded pallets with a pallet jack.
Able to operate a forklift and move materials to product racks as high as 16 feet.
Responsible for physically receiving and stocking large volumes of product in a large variety of formats from individual boxes to large pallets.
Able to fulfill Goodwill of Colorados Retail Store(s) and other department orders by providing specific products such as store supplies, and other items needed for operations.
Able to handle excessive repetitive lifting.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Other:
Hours: Monday thru Friday. Occasional weekends and evenings involved.
Ensure that all policies and procedures as defined in Goodwill of Colorado Memorandum 80-03. Procedures for Purchasing are adhered to and followed as the standard for day to day processing and job functions.
Ability to understand and follow all Goodwill safety standards and guidelines, and to read, comprehend, and follow Goodwill Employee Handbook, departmental manuals, and all numbered or supplemental memorandums.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Always maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels for items defined as central stores inventory. Monitor changes in usages and communicate to the Purchasing Manager with suggested changes.
Monitor changes or new issues in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce costs and improve quality and service. Cost analysis to provide lowest cost within service requirements to include internet research.
Provide regular feedback to suppliers. Strive to build strong and effective relations with vendors and increase their understanding of our organizations needs and mission.
Maintain independence in relationships with vendors.
Maintain reporting guidelines set forth by the department and Goodwill.
Maintain documentation of vender and customer data bases. This will include prices, alternate quotes, vender and customer concerns and notes.
Manage the scheduled order fulfillment of stores supplies and other periodic departmental fulfillment of central inventory.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly stock of the Central Inventory supply room.
Obtain and properly distribute new or revised SDS sheets for chemicals maintained in Central Stores inventory.
Conduct routine cycle count and scheduled physical inventory counts.
Responsible for the safety of all persons assigned to his/her supervision and for the safe operating conditions within the assigned area.
Performs related duties as required.
STANDARDS FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE:
The maintenance of sufficient supplies at all times. This applies to inventories identified as stock items the Central Store inventories
The cleanliness and organization of the area of responsibility (including the Central Stores Supply room)
The compliance of proper purchasing procedures and policies (Memorandum 80-03).
Meeting cost savings goals as established.
Awareness of the records used, as seen in the ability to provide purchasing data, trend analysis and reports to management.
Identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to management for improvements.
Ability to analyze and suggest more effective and efficient purchasing procedures or controls.
