Technical Project Analyst
Disk Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (Regular) position located in Patuxent River, MD 20670. The qualified applicant will become part of DESI's IT Services Group supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in a wide range of leading-edge IT products and services within the Naval Aviation Enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for providing logistics / administrative support and data analysis to a critical DoD initiative. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing their workload as well as the prioritization of tasking.
TELEWORK/ONBOARDING: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training and tasking will be hybrid on-site and telework, with at least 2 days per week of on-site support at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received, including the potential for full-time on-site support in the future.
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules and tracks tasking across multiple project teams.
- Updates documentation repositories in SharePoint.
- Prepares ad hoc reports and presentation material.
- Gathers and analyzes data and compiles data call responses and reports.
- Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
- BS/BA degree and 5 years related experience -OR- AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience -OR- HS and 9 years related experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- 5 years of project/technical data analysis related experience.
- Experience creating, coordinating, and tracking schedules.
- Experience creating pivot tables in MS Excel.
- Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing and prioritizing tasking.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).
- US Citizenship is required per government contract and for clearance eligibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Experience working within NAVAIR and/or NAWCAD.
- Experience providing support to senior leadership (Civilian or Military).
- Familiarity with BI Tools (Qlik, Tableau)
- Experience using SharePoint to manage and control content.
- Active SECRET.
