Responsibilities :
- Coordinate LNG related activities with Technical, Electrical, HVAC, Marine, Entertainment & Hotel Departments as required.
- Oversee compliance with relevant section of the SMS, keeping the Senior Manager, Technical Operations / Director, Electrical Technical Operations and Capital Project informed.
- Assist in control of budgets under area of responsibilities to maintain LNG equipment operation and availability.
- Oversee regulatory compliance with current requirements for LNG fuel Systems, working with the Safety, Security and Environmental Policy and Compliance Team and Government agencies.
- Oversee Fleet LNG Technical planned, corrective and preventive maintenance, verifying correct submission of and archiving of reports and returns under respective Company and Legislative guidelines, recorded within the Company Asset Management Operating System (AMOS).
- Monitor operational and engineering standards for the Disney Cruise Line® Fleet LNG installations in liaison with LNG Engineer Officers and Shipboard Leadership.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the Company Safety Management System(SMS) for LNG related matters advising of changes/amendments.
- Monitor technical performance of LNG Bunkering, including coordination with LNG suppliers
- Contribute to long-term Fleet LNG update/upgrade planning.
- Coordinate LNG related activities with Technical, Electrical, HVAC, Marine, Entertainment & Hotel Departments
- Oversee compliance with relevant section of the DCL Safety Management System Under the oversight of the Senior Manager of Technical Operations / Director, Electrical Technical Operations and Capital Project Planning.
- Oversight of Disney Cruise Line® Fleet Maintenance and Technical support in relation to LNG Fuel Systems.
- Oversee compliance with technical aspects for Port State Control, Classification Society.
- Investigate reported Fleet LNG issuing corrective and preventive actions taken to address them.
- Help with control of budgets for areas of responsibilities to maintain equipment operation and availability.
Basic Qualifications :
- 7 years LNG engineering experience
- Office Technical Operations and Ship/Asset Management experience
- Previous financial experience/responsibility in operating costs
- Professional training in LNG regulations, including IMO IGF Code and Classification Society
Preferred Qualifications:
- Marine sea-going or related LNG industry experience
- Cruise sector technical operations experience
- Professional training in related LNG regulations, including USCG, IAPH, SGMF, IEC 60079, CSSF, EMSALNG Risk Management
- Familiarity with IMO CII, EEXI
- Familiarity with LNG bunkering, fuel management, tanks, pumps, piping systems, valves, sensors, LNG system inerting processes, gas compressors, gas valve unit, gas detection, venting and emergency shut-down arrangements , hazardous areas
- Familiarity with LNG systems planned and unplanned maintenance procedures, major planned (dry-docks) maintenance and in service operations including condition monitoring
Required Education :
- Relevant tertiary Engineering related Degree or Higher National Diploma; Engineering Department Certificate of Competence with LNG; or equivalent
