What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Manager position at Disney Parks,Parks, Experiences and Products?

Shepherds projects through the Yellow Shoes production and approval process, from production kickoff until files are released to the venders. Aware at all times of the status of assigned jobs and is accountable for schedules and facilitating them through to on-time completion. Effectively problem solves with a broad range of internal and external partners when issues arise in the production process.
Maintains up to date information on their projects in Workfront (e.g., changing schedules, routing progress, etc) and provide timely updated status. Leads Production Input Meetings where approved creative concepts are passed off to/discussed with Production Artists, Digital Producers, Print Production, Sourcing and Procurement, etc. Assists in prioritizing work with department managers (e.g., Creative, Business Affairs, Proofreading, Production Studios, etc.)

Responsibilities :
  • Partner with Project Management and Account Management to manage the production phase of projects in Workfront
  • Collaborate and revise production timing with Studio and Dev priorities, ensuring understanding on important milestones
  • Identify challenge and process improvement opportunities
  • Manage projects through production as the established "go to" person on progress and status, and ensure projects are updated in Workfront as milestones are met
  • Ensure all partners are accounted for and input received promptly when routing creative assets
  • Participate in weekly status meetings with primary team to ensure everyone is aware of where production phase projects are for near-term deliverables
  • Call out scheduling, resource, or other issues well in advance and offer up creative solutions for addressing them
  • Ensure the team is aware of timing implications on requested changes and communicate to all impacted partners
  • Monitor and guide routing reviews and feedback in Workfront
  • Ensure all routing partners have time to review/approve assets
  • Manage communications and delivery for all Digital OOH placements, working directly with OOH vendors

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3 years of traffic management, ad agency, traffic management, or related experience
  • Knowledge of communication media including print, digital, social, email, print collateral, OOH, and the production process supporting each
  • Lead a high volume of projects and related tactics once they move in to production, managing the details and timelines through to delivery
  • Create relationships with Account, Creative, and Production peers, and be able to use those relationships; seen as a core part of the team
  • Have knowledge of the agency process and looking at project deliverables to determine overlap, find efficiencies, and prioritize across work businesses and projects
  • Experience with Work Front and other Project Management tools is a bonus

Required Education :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
