Disney Publishing Worldwide seeks a highly creative and detail-oriented Editor to work on a Disney/Pixar children’s books, Infant to Pre-School Age. You will report to the Editorial Director.

Responsibilities :
- Develop Global and Vertical Publishing Plans
- Present Publishing Plans to vertical and licensed publishers
- Brainstorm formats/concepts with internal and external partners
- Prepare and present P&Ls at Acquisition meetings
- Write Fact Sheets for acquired titles
- Commission authors
- Prepares scripts for Sales Meetings
- Review and edit manuscripts, layouts, and all passes
- Track performance of franchise to right size new season pub plans
- Review pub planning submissions for assigned franchises
- Review assigned publisher submissions in OPA
Basic Qualifications :
- 3-5 years experience in children’s publishing
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of publishing process and formats
- Understanding of editing, and copyediting
- Highly motivated, productive, and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with Disney/Pixar brands
Required Education :
- Bachelor's Degree
