About the Role & Team
The Business Operations team is responsible for the exciting behind-the-scenes functions that keep the Disneyland Resort and other Disney Experiences teams operating optimally. This Staff Analyst will support the Business Operations Asset Management team. This team protects company assets that are still in use and determines the most responsible way of disposing of assets, leveraging donations, re-use, recycling, upcycling, resale, and backstage Heritage installations.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will administer the Cast Auction program, a unique opportunity to make limited assets available to employees. You will provide system administration of the auction software, plan auctions, gather required approvals, post auction items, and coordinate payment and pick-up with the winners.
You will also provide project support to the rest of the Asset Management team, which may include maintaining SmartSheets forms and reports, photographing assets, documenting asset descriptions and status, purchasing supplies, and other administrative functions.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Photograph, measure and weigh assets, then record information in tracking software
Research and document the history of assets, including identifying market value based on the sale of similar assets
Review assets recommended for auction with Legal, Royalties, Brand Management, and other key partners
Select assets for auction from approved inventory, with the intent to build a cohesive, balanced and exciting auction
Administer auction software, including building auctions, running auctions, reporting on auction details, and updating information and graphics on auction website
Coordinate pick-up of items with auction winners
Troubleshoot technical issues with auction software, partnering with the vendor and IT when necessary
Safely move assets around a warehouse, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other specialized equipment
Purchase supplies and create purchase orders using Coupa
Build and maintain forms, sheets, and dashboards using SmartSheets
Coordinate pick-up and delivery of assets at multiple sites
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience as a system administrator or super user
Experience contributing to the success of a project
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the Company
Proven strength in partnerships and building networks
Ability to lead multiple priorities and timelines
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift and/or warehousing experience
Strong familiarity with the Resort and the ability to recognize where an asset may have been used based on its design, function or theming
Familiarity with auctions and collectibles
Experience coordinating auctions
Education
Experience or education in communications, business, technology, or related field

The hiring range for this position in California is $69,600 to $85,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
Salary : $69,600 - $85,000
