They’ve been in business for over 30 years. During this time, they’ve only had 3 people quit. You’ll be replacing someone who has been there over 20 years. They’re approaching retirement and the business is looking for a succession plan. You’ll work alongside the current person for an extended period of time, to get to know your new job and integrate yourself into the business.

Revenues continue to increase (in excess of $100m now) and with the growth, will come progression for you. It’s likely the Accounting will grow significantly with you at the helm.

This is a small, growing business so you’ll be a hands-on Controller who has experience of all aspects of Accounting. You’ll be happy to be hands on and you’ll work closely with the external CPA firm.
