What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at Distinct?
This firm won't pay you what the Big Four will, so if salary is the number 1 priority for you, then this probably isn’t the role for you...
If, however, you enjoy doing sophisticated tax work for High Net Worth individuals, but you don't want to lose any semblance of a personal life February through April, then this could be the firm for you.
Here, your hours will be capped at 60 per week during busy season, although most people work 50-55 during this time. You can work fully remotely or on a hybrid basis from one of their MA or RI offices. You’ll be offered a flexible schedule with core hours from 10am to 3pm, and their unlimited PTO policy means you can enjoy your time off however you choose.
So if you’re looking for a new opportunity with a firm that truly values work-life balance and professional growth - here you go.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team, with 50-60 people in each office, that are known for treating their employees like family.
The firm is structured with clear service lines for audit and tax, allowing you to focus on what you do best. Although the firm has a diverse client base, you will focus on High Net worth individuals.
You’ll have access to the leading technology and resources, ensuring you have the best tools at your disposal. You’ll have access to consistent investments in mentoring, leadership and development programs, and you’ll be offered tuition reimbursement of up to $12,000 for further education.
You’ll be rewarded with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with match. You’ll also enjoy term life insurance, CPA cost coverage with a completion bonus, summer Fridays, half-day Fridays outside the busy season, a dress-for-your-day policy and plenty of social events to keep the teams connected and foster a strong sense of community.
They truly mean it when they talk about work-life balance. The unlimited PTO policy is real and there are great opportunities to grow; they are always looking for future partners.
