Job Posting for Environmental Health Laboratory Technician at District Health Department #10
Full-time Environmental Health Laboratory Technician. This position will be based in Mason County.
Duties:
· Under general supervision, accepts, and tests water samples for microbes and chemicals to ensure safety within established time parameters and according to federal certification standards and state licensing requirements.
· Reviews, reads, and reports test results.
· Calibrates equipment and performs quality assurance procedures.
· Reports test results to clients and provides fees.
· Provides additional support in other areas as necessary or required.
Requirements:
· Completion of a high school diploma.
· Associates Degree preferred.
· Some background/experience in knowledge of chemical reagents and laboratory testing procedures and processes is preferred.
· Ability to enter data and other information using standard office applications and
using online databases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.08 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
