Substitute Secretary
The position of substitute secretaries is now open. The hourly rate of pay is $13.00.
It should be noted that good typing skills and computer literacy are essential requirements for this position.

GENERAL DUTIES:
- Serves as a courteous and pleasant receptionist to the staff and visitors in the building.
- Answer phones and take messages.
- Keeps strictly confidential all information regarding students, parents and faculty.
- Does general typing and filing for the administrator.
- Assists teachers in operating office machines.
- Strives to establish and maintain desirable community relations.
- Receives and distributes mail.
- Performs other such duties as may be assigned by the building principal, his/her designee, and the Director of Human Capital/School Operations.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety of students
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Exhibit professional behavior, emotional stability and sound judgement
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships
- Interacts in a positive manner with staff, students and parents
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
