Summary
As a Royalty Analyst, you’ll play a key role with our Finance team to deliver quality service to our artists and internal teams alike. You’ll process the cash flow life cycle of our artists’ earnings, reconciling and investigating discrepancies along the way. The ideal candidate is a self-starter eager to learn and grow. They have a strong sense of internal controls and a desire to optimize systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
Income tracking of Artist Royalties coming in from DSPs
Coordination of the release of royalties to Artist accounts, and periodic audit for accuracy
Execute high volume payments to Artists
Perform cash management across payment platforms.
Investigate and respond to artist inquiries regarding payment.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to participating in special projects, ERP implementations, system enhancements, tax filing, and ad hoc analyses, as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
3-4 years relevant experience
Competitive candidates will have audit and/or Music Royalties experience.
Strong Excel skills and comfortable with large data volume
Knowledge of SQL query building preferred
Ability to work and collaborate with technology teams
Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment with strong time management skills
