The recruiting regional manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to corporate and regional recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across several states.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
· Assist with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Fills senior-level positions within operations and management.
· Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
· Manages the recruiting team for all regions.
· Works closely with recruiting staff in all regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus.
· Five years of recruiting experience required.
· Technical recruiting experience a plus.
· SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
· SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
The salary will be discuss upon interview depending on experience it can be anything from $65,000.00 to $80,000.00.
