General Purpose of the Job:
The Senior Manager of Learning Technology at Client will lead the strategic direction, management, and operational performance of the company’s learning platforms, including the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves collaborating with technical, operational, and learning teams to develop a learning technology roadmap that supports business needs and enhances scalable learning experiences. The Sr. Manager will oversee the daily functionality of these platforms, implement system enhancements, and manage both the performance of their team and external vendor relationships. They are responsible for ensuring continuous improvement and innovation, driving user satisfaction, and advancing learning technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learning Technology Strategy: Define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise learning technologies in partnership with IT. Lead governance, processes, and requests for new additions to the learning ecosystem.
- LMS/LXP Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of the LXP and LMS, ensuring standardization of processes and high platform functionality.
- System Enhancements: Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and system upgrades.
- Support and Issue Resolution: Provide Level-3 support for escalated learning technology issues.
- Team Development and Vendor Management: Lead and grow a high-performing team, fostering professional growth while managing relationships with key vendors.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience administering Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Leadership experience with technology-related teams for at least 4 years.
- Hands-on experience with administering platforms in mid-sized companies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in technology management, adult learning, or related field.
- Certification in Cornerstone On Demand LMS.
- Experience in API and basic web programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

- Deep expertise with Cornerstone LMS systems.
- Proven leadership and management experience, including employee development.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive long-term solutions.
