POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Production Accountant will use applicable software to compile, manage, and report production/sales data to various internal departments and external organizations.
Special focus will be placed on:
Demonstrated strong, effective analytical and organization skills with attention to detail
Responsible for the setup of new equipment in the production allocation system, based upon contractual terms and configuration reports
Allocate and review oil and gas sales to the well level
Generate and provide production reports to working interest owners and third parties.
Prepare and file monthly regulatory reporting to both state and federal agencies
Preform prior period adjustments
Respond to internal queries about assigned areas from various departments
Maintains, analyzes reports, and troubleshoots physical pipeline L&U balances based upon information compiled from pipeline operations, field measurement operations, and commercial
Balance run ticket data to monthly statements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years as a Production Accountant or other applicable position with responsibility for the analytical review of production data.
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (database lookups, multi-scale graphs, pivot tables)
Experience with Enertia or other production allocation software.
