What youll do:
Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the primary responsibility is to support multiple integrated food waste processing to renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities in Maintenance and Reliability operations. This role will help to oversee standardization and indirectly manage Maintenance personnel across the west coast operations.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced subject matter expert in facilities maintenance, workplace safety, and data driven management and leadership. A background in anaerobic digestion systems, gas pipeline and compression systems, distribution processes and food conveyance/filtering equipment is preferred.
Travel: US travel required up to 50% annually
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentor and manage site-based Maintenance Managers/Leads in the expansion and continuous improvement of Diverts M&R operations
- Drive maintenance Best Practices: Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes and improve Diverts performance.
- Offer guidance to senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end of life (EOL) issues using ROI, and other analytical techniques.
- Provide oversight for budget development and execution, and capital planning.
- Help manage vendor support and equipment relationships and leverage Diverts growing network to maximize economies of scale.
- Provide frequent on-site monitoring, auditing and enforcement of maintenance execution, safe work practices, and institute and audit training drills across the network.
- Manage regional spare parts planning for multiple sites.
- Develop and manage budget and contract documents including RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Recruit, interview, and hire bar-raising talent in the Maintenance roles.
- Help create a world-class facilities maintenance organization.
What were looking for:
- BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with 4 years experience in maintenance
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional preferred
- 5 years experience managing employees and their performance in a maintenance capacity
- Managing teams across multiple sites preferred
- Experience leading change in a multiple site environments
