DME Express is a medical supply company dedicated to delivering the best service and equipment to the Hospice field. The average pay for this position varies upon experience, but no experience is required for this position. We will train the right candidates.
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for ensuring all customers and patients are satisfied at all times. They are also responsible for identifying and developing all process, performance improvements and efficiencies for the customer as well as the supervision and training of customer service representatives including their performance of all tasks related to in-house communications with patient/client and verification of third-party reimbursement.
Responsible to: General Manager
Responsibilities and Duties of Customer Service Manager:
1. Handle customer inquiries and resolve customer problems.
2. Work with General Manager to provide strategic direction and help the company grow and develop its internal software. Including offering solutions to roadblocks with internal software, staffing, workload efficiencies.
3. Maintain a high level of professionalism with customers and patients through every call, email or other source of communication in order to portray the company in the best light.
4. Perform one on ones with directs weekly.
5. Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
6. Promotes teamwork among co-workers that includes assisting CSRs, routers, and field operations as needed.
7. Ability to work a flexible work schedule (including weekends) on a predetermined, rotating schedule.
8. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience with dealing with customers and patients.
9. Understands and follows company handbook, and all company or customer safety and environmental policies.
10. Properly communicating with management about potential concerns and problems.
11. Accepts other duties and activities as assigned.
Education: Associate’s Degree in customer service, business or closely related field with 2 years of relevant customer service and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience.
Experience/Knowledge:
· Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
· Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications.
· Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
· Strong customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements:
· This role entails prolonged sitting in an office environment
· Must be able to perform at times squatting and crouching while pulling, lifting and shoving on boxes, supplies and equipment
· Must be able to complete all physical requirements as listed as well as any reasonable request during the duration of the job
