What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Helper position at dnata U.S.?
You Will:
You Will:
- Assist in loading and off-loading food trolleys onto trucks
- Load & unload trucks with Driver
- International waste pickups from various airports
- Maintain clean truck
- Communicate with supervisors and dispatchers
- Other duties as assigned by management (i.e., VIP shopping, ad hoc errands)
- Other duties as assigned
You Have:
- Experience working in a Warehouse/Airline catering environment
- The ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ (Port Authority), Port ID (per TSA regulations and more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209)
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Reliable - excellent attendance & punctuality
- Schedule flexibility is a must, ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts
- Ability to lift and push heavy objects, racks, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work safely to prevent accidents to self and coworkers
- High School Diploma.
