DNV – Digital Solutions is looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Software Engineering unit. As an operation, we are responsible for developing world-class software for managing risk and asset management in a broad range of industries. Software Engineering consists of 500 people worldwide, organized in six Product Centres and a Centre of Enablement.
You as a Senior UX designer will join an international team with UX designers, data scientists, and front-end developers to accelerate a data and human-centered approach to design and development across our product development teams. A Superior user experience is central to our strategy, and this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and impact the future customer journey of DNV’s software products. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in UX design, with a focus on the digital commerce customer journey. They will also be able to build a DesignOps practice and support our design systems and various development teams.
Position Qualifications
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate assumptions, decisions and identify areas for improvements
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams
- Create UX deliverables such as journey maps, personas, wireframes, and prototypes driven by insight from both quantitative and qualitative user research
- Collaborate with other designers, data scientists, UX researcher, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality designs that meets user need and objectives
- Standardize our UX processes and promote best practices across the organization
Position Qualifications
- You have relevant education or experience within design
- A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies, including user research and usability testing
- You have experience with mapping user flows, journey maps, creating wireframes, prototypes
- You have experience with relevant tools such as UXPin, Figma, Sketch or similar
- You have strong analytic skills together with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- You are a team-player, reaching out to relevant parts of our organization
- You are flexible, structured, open-minded and result oriented
