What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr Recruiter position at DO & CO?
We are currently seeking a positive and energetic Internal Recruiter who loves to connect with new people, to join DO&CO, and source the best possible talent for our luxury airline catering operation. The role will be based out of New York, JFK Airport unit.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll provide full 360-degree resourcing support to our Production, Operation and Admin teams covering all management and non-management levels. You’ll be responsible for managing end to end recruitment within these key business areas, keeping hiring managers informed at all stages of the recruitment process and providing contingency plans for challenging and difficult to fill roles. Ultimately you will act as an internal consultant, ensuring talent is identified, screened, and submitted to the relevant Line Manager, ensuring that they fully meet the brief and competency-based criteria to fulfil the role.
A day as a Recruiter:
Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level
Build a pipeline for multiple requisitions across foundation teams and geographies, considering diversity levels and the importance of balanced candidate slates
Engages in activities geared towards recruiting activities with local schools and/or community-based organizations and other recruitment events.
Drive inclusion through building diverse pipelines at top of the funnel
Influence and educate hiring managers on processes, interview best practices and decision making
Provide a consistently exceptional candidate experience ensuring DO&CO become an employer of choice
Create new innovative ways to surprise, intrigue and interest candidates as they go through our interview process
Accurately track candidate data and use systems correctly to be able to report to the business
Be a company ambassador and represent DO&CO with integrity and professionalism
Speak passionately and authentically about DO&CO and our mission
Who you are:
2 years full cycle recruiting experience is strongly preferred. Experience in F&B / Chef recruitment would be a definite advantage
High volume recruiting experience. Airline experience would be an advantage
Highly competent with ATS
Well-developed analytical and influencing skills
This individual would be and outside the box thinker as it relates to Lead Generating activities
Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude
Comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity
Ability to be patient and communicate respectfully in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and planning skills and a solutions orientation
Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
High-level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility
