What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Clinic Manager position at DOC-AID?
Seeking a CLINIC MANAGER to function in a strategic leadership position that will manage the overall operations of our facility, ensuring a vision and strategy for future growth.
The DOC-AID Urgent Care Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. Weekends 10am- 8 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, hire, and retain top talent.
Conduct regular comprehensive performance evaluations, career coaching, interpersonal coaching.
Responsible for carrying out all established policies.
Develop and manage all schedules.
Training of all staff (licensed and non-licensed).
CLINICAL SERVICES:
Manage the flow of the clinic to ensure compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
Extensive experience with electronic health records.
Lead and direct the performance of the practice including enhancement of current service capabilities, development of new services, and expert implementation and management of the same.
Management of all partner or third party services ensuring all supplies are ordered.
CLINIC FINANCIALS:
Manage clinic financials, including managing budget, employee and contractor expense tracking and patient co-pay collections.
Full Profit & Loss responsibility of the facility, including revenue, expenses and budgeting.
HEALTH ANALYTICS:
Expertly utilize health analytics information to to improve clinical performance.
Participate in identification and development of clinical programs, care coordination, and evidence based medicine guidelines.
NETWORK DEVELOPMENT:
Assist with the identification, negotiation, contracting, and managing performance for all specialists, facilities, allied providers, and other health care delivery partners.
Marketing the practice in the local community.
Identifies strategy for growth and executes plans to achieve growth goals.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
Manage all suppliers, partners, and other vendors. Includes negotiating, contracting, and managing performance.
REPORTING:
Manage and ensure all clinical, financial, and administrative client and corporate data is captured and reported correctly.
Effectively prepare and present updates and reviews with staff and medical director and determine areas of improvement.
Report directly to the Medical Director.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Manage all direct clinical communication and support corporate and client communication efforts from the practice.
Problem solving and addressing issues raised by physicians, providers, employees, and patients.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
10 Years minimum of clinic management experience or
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or
Nursing Degree with Management Certificate
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum three years of experience as a clinic manager, practice manager, practice administrator, or similar.
Three years experience operating and managing health care center.
Three or more years of experience staffing and managing 7-10 employees and at least 3 providers.
Proven track record in growing practice revenues and volumes.
Clinic practice marketing experience with a variety of tactics to grow and develop business.
