Docketly is a legal tech startup in the gig economy (like Uber, but for attorneys!). We match local attorneys with large law firms to provide counsel for court hearings nationwide.
We are seeking a new Operations Specialist who can thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. We need someone who can help us negotiate with attorneys across the country to help match them with jobs from our platform. If you are ready to work hard and innovate every day make our systems more efficient and more cost-effective, we’ll support you through rapid growth opportunities and employee training/education.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer phone calls, chats, and tickets from attorneys to help them navigate our platform to find jobs
- Innovate every day: Dream up new ways to match attorneys to jobs in the most efficient way possible
- Negotiate job pricing with attorneys to ensure appropriate pay for the job and to ensure costs remain reasonable for our clients
- Coordinate with our Support team to ensure that information is communicated smoothly and quickly across the team
- Learn and interact with Docketly’s agile product development process to improve our site and our services over time
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years experience in a related function with customer support and/or engagement in professional services or related function
- Experience with negotiation or sales is a huge plus!
- Excellent verbal and written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Tech-savviness (specifically, knowledge of Mac OS and the Google suite)
- Self-starting mentality; we’re looking for scrappy, hard-working team members who can think critically and help us grow our business
- Due to our industry requirements and nationwide service, you will have to pass a 12-panel drug test and background check
