Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Posting for Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Dodge Mechanical Power Transmission
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Observes safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions
- Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
- Performs preventative maintenance routines as scheduled
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
- Strong working knowledge of general mechanical (ball-screws, headstock alignment, etc.)
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, assembly, installation, maintenance and repair
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
- Fabricates and repairs mechanical devices as needed
- Ability to work all shifts when needed
- Fulltime 40-hour commitment with occasional overtime expected

- High school diploma or GED
- Industrial Mechanics Certification preferred or;

- Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include, Close vision, Peripheral vision and Depth perception

- Frequently required to stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Routinely required to walk, sit, climb or balance
