We are a professional, family owned 40-year plus dog training company that specializes in strengthening the bond between your dog and your family, with a strong emphasis on teaching your dog the highest level of obedience, despite even the toughest level of distractions. Unlike a lot of other dog training companies, we understand that each client has different needs, so we tailor our dog training programs to accommodate each unique situation. Dog Training Elite also trains service animals and dogs ready to volunteer in the community as therapy dogs and companions to those with special needs.
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients in addition to performing a variety of tasks to support our Dog Training Team. NO DOG EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! However, you MUST LOVE DOGS and MUST LOVE TALKING ON THE PHONE.
We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and an excellent customer service focus who is passionate about helping clients and our training team. The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, trustworthy, and a good communicator, who understands hard work, how to deliver and provide best-in-class service to our clients.
The Receptionists responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling training and evaluation appointments, arranging trainers’ schedules, and assisting at marketing events.
To be successful in this role, you should not only love dogs, but you should enjoy working with and coaching people, exhibit an excellent customer service orientation, be well-organized, a good communicator, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
The role will begin as part-time, (likely 12-24 hours per week) working alongside the leadership of our Operations Manager.
One year of customer service and/or sales experience is preferred, but not mandatory. NO DOG TRAINING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
Responsibilities:
~First point of contact for clients
~Update company CRM daily (regularly checking schedules and drive times between appointments to ensure brand standards are achievable for our training team).
~Ensure highest level of customer service and support.
~Ensure Dog Training Elite training standards and values are met at all times
~Regular check-ins with our training team and company leadership
~Group class scheduling and oversight
~Assist with in-person marketing events
~Event set up and break down coordination
~Ensure facility and in-home training safety protocols are followed and exceeded daily
~Manage calendar daily for accuracy.
~Request client reviews.
~Light cleaning as needed
~Additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.80 - $16.00 per hour
