General Summary: Constructs, installs, repairs and maintains equipment, machinery, structures and electrical systems at the DC.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure equipment is working so that efficient operations are maintained.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions, using blueprints, manuals and written instructions.
Construct, install or repair equipment in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and repair manuals.
Assist in training and instruct General Maintenance Associates in the maintenance of the building and grounds, ensuring that maintenance is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform general warehouse duties as required, including loading and unloading trailers and use of forklift equipment. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong electrical, mechanical and mathematical skills. Five years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent. At least three years experience repairing and maintaining forklifts. Skills in welding, milling machines, hand and power tools and electrical motors. P.C. literate.
