About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join Dolly’s Marketing team. As the Marketing Manager for Dolly’s retail segment you will support the development, planning, execution, analysis, and optimization of B2B partnership marketing strategies that reach and convert national retail brands to utilize and advocate for Dolly’s delivery service.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to process consumer insights and identify data-driven trends to inform the marketing strategy and execution for sales enablement and partnership programs; focusing on building brand awareness, driving online traffic, and leveraging compelling content and promotions to funnel highly qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
This role will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager.
As the Marketing Manager, Retail at Dolly, you will:
- Manage the development and execution of Dolly’s retailer marketing programs and multi-channel campaigns to create and accelerate the pipeline and support post-partner sell-through initiatives.
- Build a collaborative relationship with the Business Development team to inform and prioritize lead generation and engagement strategies among sales targets.
- Be the voice of the retailer and conduct research and analysis that serves as input into messaging across all marketing touchpoints.
- Work in partnership with content and design team members, developing briefs and overseeing creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising, communications, and promotional collateral, including print, digital, and video assets such as sales decks, customer stories, in-store signage, retargeting creative, and white papers.
- Build out marketing analytics to measure success and develop insights on program performance.
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and results.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, visual).
- Strong project management skills, with proven experience in planning and coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- The ability to switch between creativity and analytics—can brainstorm campaign ideas and do the analytical work to prove their efficacy.
- Deep familiarity with the Hubspot CRM and marketing automation platform.
- An obsession with the customer - wanting to deeply understand their wants/needs.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office, Adobe, and Google Suite.
- A curious mind and a bias for getting things done.
- Strongly aligned with Dolly’s core values.
Bonus points for any of the following:
- Experience with consumer mobile applications and/or retailer products/services
- Interest and experience in logistics, transportation, and marketplaces.
- Startup experience – familiar with the urgency and scrappiness of early-stage dynamics
